Chiropractic

Chiropractic is incredible because it helps us live, function, heal, and perform at our maximum potential. It’s all about the brain and nervous system.

All body systems would be immobilized without the nervous system. It controls and regulates every bodily activity down to the workings of the tiniest cell. – World Book Encyclopedia of Science

Here at MAC Therapies, we understand that health is about one thing and that is FUNCTION. How well your nervous system is functioning will determine your health status. We know your body is fully capable of healing itself from the inside through a healthy nervous system.

If you will visualize for a moment your spinal column, you know that the boney structures called vertebra protect your spinal cord and life line the (nervous system). When the vertebra of the spine move out of alignment it is called a (subluxation). If you have a subluxation the nerves flowing from the spinal column get stressed and choked by the misaligned bones, this dims your life line resulting in decreased nervous system function. Due to the incredible design of nerves subluxations do not always result in pain but could still be present disrupting other systems in the body. It is important to know that pain free does not mean healthy functioning nervous system. When the nervous system is not working at 100% it is hard to live life, heal and function properly.

Simply put feeling good does not equate to good health. Good health is a product of a fully functioning, well cared-for nervous system—supported by regular chiropractic care. This is the secret of a healthy and vibrant life.

Dr. Gordon Lovett performs focused and precise hands on adjustments. His gentle technique moves the spinal vertebra back into proper alignment, thus allowing your nervous system communication to function at its best
